I Like Books

I liked this a whole lot more than TFIOS. I was able to relate to the characters, they were both flawed in the way that typical highschoolers are. As I read I remembered being in high school when I first thought I fell in love in that all consuming sort of way. How that other person was your whole world and you didn't think you would make it through the night without hearing from them. It was nice to be reminded of that again.

It's funny though, when I think of these two characters falling in love I am reminded of the quote: "I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once" which is from TFIOS. Only when I read it in context to that book, the line fell flat. Now I know what JG had meant. Whoops.
